Anyone entering grades 5-12th

The sun has moved up above the Mountain in its trek across the sky, with these cold temperatures the warmth from the sun on our faces is such a welcome change.  Our solar project - 15.5 kw of renewable power generation – is off to a good start as well, as we count down to the end of April.   That date is our deadline to order and plan for installation of the panels.  How many panels we can install is dependent on the amount we have on hand.  Our goal is $63,500 and we are currently at $62,000.

We have been asked several questions and the first and most important is how can we contribute and be a part of this project?

There are two ways to contribute:

The first and for some the simplest is to write a check to Joy with the note Solar Project and put it in the offering plate or drop it off at church.

The second is through our online giving system, https://www.joy-lutheran.com/give , proceed to GIVE HERE, the next pop up window will give you the option of where to give, scroll down and select "Solar Panel Project". If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to the office.

We teach kids about the unconditional love of God in Jesus using a method called Godly Play. 

Parents are invited to attend with their kids or grab some coffee  and talk with other parents in the "church living room" outside the hall.

Confirmation Class is for students 6th grade and above seeking to Affirm their Baptism (be "Confirmed"). 

Holy Grounds is a weekly gathering of high school youth at Jitters Café with Pastor Sean and other adult youth leaders. 

Holy Grounds follows the ASD calendar, if there is no school on Monday, Holy Grounds does not meet. Please see the EVENTS page for up to date meetings. 

Our choir meets Wednesday evenings at 5:00pm in the Sanctuary. If you have any choir questions please contact our Music Minister Robyn.
