Come Read & Discuss over Food

The Joy of Reading Book Club meets once a month (3rd Monday unless noted) to discuss the book selection for that month. We share thoughts on the  book of the month, have a light dinner, and talk and laugh together.  Here is the information on upcoming books and  meetings:

  • Friday July 12 is The Women by Kristen Hannah– mark your calendars for the book club anniversary celebration on Nancy Lake!  This will be our 14th anniversary!
  • August 19 is Little Souls by Sandra Dallas.  The meeting will be at the home of Betty V.
  • September 16 is The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell by Robert Dugoni.  This meeting will be at the home of Shontelle S.
  • October 21 is They Called It Camelot: A Novel of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis by Stephanie Marie Thornton.

Books are meant to be shared! Please join us! Please contact the church office for more information.

2nd Sunday Each Month After Worship

Lutherans love food! Join us after worship on the 2nd Sunday each month for brunch. Bring a dish to share if you want but it's not required. This is simply a time for conversation, laughter, and making connections with each other.

Join our group for crochet projects for a good cause. You can work independently or meet with the group once per month. Projects include prayer shawls for those in the hospital or extended care settings, hats for the Jump for Joy Kid's Closet, or other projects for our community. Click the Interest Form below and someone will reach out to you!
